Go Games Referees 💻

In order to prepare for the Go Games season and for Clubs to be able to get referees in place there is an online course that can be done. It takes approximately one hour to complete.

Anyone 15+ can do the Go Games referee course, players, parents, family members, friends and anyone in the local community who would like to help in their Clubs.

This self-paced Go Games Referee Course is designed and aimed for those who wish to referee non-competitive Go Games.

Objectives:
Outline the roles and responsibilities of referees.
Assist referees with understanding the rules of our games of Gaelic football, Ladies football, hurling and camogie.
Develop the fundamental skills of refereeing. Illustrate the Go Games philosophy and ethos.

Participants will need to set up an account on the GAA learning portal Tobar and then click on the link (see below) to access the Go Games referees course.

Reminder everyone involved with children including referees must hold valid Access NI and Safeguarding certificates. U16’s are ok.
Information on how to obtain these credentials can also be found on the Tobar website and from your Club Children’s Officer.

Please send completed Go Games Referee certificates (which you will get straight after course completion on email) to Development.tyrone@lgfa.ie so we have a record of all Go Games Referees.
