𝐒𝐜ó𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲

Today represents the 25th Anniversary of our first All Ireland Scor victory. On 29th April 2000 our Ballad Group secured the All Ireland Title in the Ulster Hall, Belfast .

We salute our All Ireland winners – Geraldine Quinn, Noleen Neill, Niall McCulllough, Dermot McCann and Damian Cullen. 💙🤍💛

Fear An Tighe on the night was Sean Kelly, (the man who went on to present Sam to our own

Tyrone Captain and leader just 3 years later).

There were fantastic scenes in the Ulster Hall when Aireagal Chairain were named All Ireland Champions and our team were presented with their medals by the President of the GAA, Sean McCague (another great Gael – Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal).

No prouder man in the Ulster Hall that evening than our very own, Gerry McCann. Wee Gerry had been promoting Scor within the club for the 15 years previous (a role he continued to carry out many years thereafter).

He had dreamed of days like this, his own club collecting a Scor All Ireland Title. Gerry was the architect, the man who wouldn’t take no for an answer. The best managers can get all their best players on the pitch – Gerry got his best players on the pitch – and what a performance they gave in the Ulster Hall that evening.
