2024 was indeed another difficult year for many and our thoughts and prayers go out to all the bereaved and sick in our own parish and those who are lonely this Christmas.

Thanks to you all of our volunteers for your continued support throughout this year! Every minute of time spent is greatly appreciated and certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. Stay safe this holiday season and look after one another!

We held our Annual Christmas social last Saturday (14th December) with a fantastic turnout! We catered for over 150 guests on the day and they all had a thoroughly enjoyable day and we have received some great feedback. As always a massive thank you to our very hardworking Health & Well-Being committee who delivered this event for the community.

Our thanks also goes to all who helped set up the hall, served food and cleaned up afterwards. It was a fantastic club effort!

A special thank you must go to none other than the Queen of Country Music – Philomena Begley, for joining us on the day to provide some entertainment for the guests alongside many others!
